Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients to discuss loan needs and financial situations
Explain different loan products, terms, and repayment options
Collect and review financial documents such as income statements, credit reports, and tax records
Evaluate applicants’ creditworthiness and ability to repay loans
Submit loan applications for approval and coordinate with underwriters
Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Ensure compliance with banking laws and lending regulations
Build relationships with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions
Monitor loan progress from application through closing
Meet monthly or quarterly loan production targets
